084 – 2 November 2001  064-015 – 18 January 2000 18 January 2000 Mary Inglin was the daughter of Robert Raffles Augustus Purdy, who arrived on Saltspring and bought land at 600 Beddis Road (‘the barn on Beddis’) in 1884. At that time that location was the end of Beddis Road .

085 089 – 25 March 2003 Val Gyves was a pioneer Fulford Valley resident, sister-in-law to Bob Akerman. Her ancestors were members of the Indigenous community of the Cowichan Valley.

Part 1 093-094 Part 2 093 6-7 January 2003 John Bennet was one of four Bennett children who grew up at the top end of Duke’s Road. He worked logging and was known as a great storyteller. There is a ‘bullshit bench’ in Ganges dedicated his memory.
