Joan Ingram married her husband Dal who she met at the BC Packers Plant in Steveston. Dal fished most of his career and finally bought a beautiful home at the end of Bridgman Road. Joan was grandmother was a member of the Saanich Peninsula. Her maiden name was Stevens, and Dimitri Stevens is her nephew. Her mother was married on the Stevens Farm on Stevens Road. She was a living repository for South-end Saltspring history.
